      The Iranian authorities announced the arrival of the second batch of the Russian \”Sputnik V\” vaccine against the Coronavirus to Iran, which contains 100,000 doses. She confirmed that it will be distributed across the health network in the country after following the necessary procedures to vaccinate medical personnel.      

      Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that Tehran has not yet seen any sign from the new US administration to change its policies, stressing that his country is looking forward to practical steps from Washington, not just statements. This comes as the Revolutionary Guard launched ground maneuvers in the southwest of the country.

    The first batch of the Russian Sputnik v vaccine has arrived in Tehran, including half a million doses, as the first vaccine that Tehran obtains, under sanctions that the Iranians say are hindering their countries\’ access to vaccines to combat the pandemic
