Our correspondent reported that Tehran delivered a letter to the Security Council informing him that there were wounded people in critical condition as a result of the collision of the British tanker with an Iranian fishing vessel. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif said his country is responsible for security and freedom of navigation in the Gulf region and will remain so forever. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said earlier that his country was ready to enter into just and legal negotiations with the United States. Adding that the negotiations did not mean surrender and that his country would reduce further nuclear commitments after the end of the second deadline.
