Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif called for lifting the sanctions on Tehran and engaging in dialogue and logical negotiations with it to restore security in the region.
Zarif added that Tehran did not want confrontation with London, but would protect the waters of the Gulf. On his election, Zarif congratulated Boris Johnson on his election as leader of the Labor Party and head of the British government. The commander of Iranian naval forces, Hossein Khan Zadi, said that Iran has an intercontinental aircraft, pointing out that its use is on the agenda of the Iranian army.
