Iranian President Hassan Rowhani presented the new year\’s budget, which includes halving the allocations of the Defense Ministry, the army, the Revolutionary Guard and the Basij in comparison to last year. In his speech before parliament, Rowhani said that the budget is commensurate with the US sanctions, which he described as unfair to Tehran. He pointed out that the sanctions have practically and psychologically affected the currency market in Iran and contributed to the deterioration of the Iranian currency.
